Local Activites
Over the years we've hosted our four adult children and their 11 children on Saint Thomas, as well as many friends from around the world. Here is a very brief sample of some of the activities and places that we have enjoyed.
BEACHES!!!
The Preserve at Botany Bay has two beaches that you can walk to, Mermaids Chair and Sandy Beach. You will pass the entrance to Botany Bay just before you arrive at Stone's Throw.
Brewers Beach is just past the airport, you will pass it on your way to Stone's Throw. There are restroom's and food trucks located there. We often see conch, sea turtles and sea rays when swimming or snorkeling there.
Magen's Bay is a world famous beach that features restaurants, rental chairs and other gear.
Hull Bay is a favorite of locals. Quiet, good snorkeling, full service restaurant and bar. Bring a hammock and hang it from a tree, or a chair and towel and relax on the sand in the sun or shade.

Tickles is in sub base, close to the airport, very good food for the entire family.
Further out there is Prime at Paradise point, Mimms Seaside and many more on the East End of the island in Redhook.
